Sports

During the last twelve years the school has earned a high reputation in the field of academics as well as in sports and other co-curricular activities. The school was given ‘The best canvas award’ of The Hindustan Times in the year 2003. The school was declared overall champion in 5th Shaheed Bhagat Singh sports competition. The school won the Sukhdev Narayan cricket championship in 2008-2009.This year the school became champion in 14th Shaheed Memorial cricket tournament.

Every year sports activities are organized on 26th January, Republic Day. Annual sports activities are also organized every year to promote and build up the physical development and skills of the students.

Co-curricular Activities

All activities, Athletics, cultural, social or of any other kind, which may be directly or indirectly identified with the School are subject to explicit and definite approval of the Chairman or Principal. Activities such as Games and sports, Hindi ‘Vad Vivaad Pratiyogita’, singing, music, Dance Competition , Interclass Debates, Quiz(Interclass) , Drawing & Painting Competition by Camlin Pedilite, Essay Competition, Horlicks-whiz kids, Helpage India, Quiz Competition by Hindustan, Rangoli Competition, Diya making, Poster making, Mehandi Competition, Rakhi making Competition, Fancy dress Competition(junior sections), Fete, Speech Competition on Hindi Divas, Children’s Day celebration and Annual Day celebration play an important role in the career of the child at DONY POLO PUBLIC SCHOOL.
